Polygon Chain (MATIC) Wallet

RUNCOIN: Overview and Details

In the "Wallet" section of your personal account, you have the capability to generate a unique Polygon Chain (MATIC) wallet, comprising both a public and private key. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can choose to connect an existing wallet. Whichever option you select, please remember that this is the wallet to which your RUNCOIN rewards will be credited.

Understanding Crypto Wallets

A cryptocurrency wallet is primarily made up of two key components:

  1. Your public key, which essentially acts as your wallet number. It's perfectly safe to share this with others as it's simply an address that people will use to send you funds.

  2. Your private key, which functions like a traditional password. This key is personal to you and should be kept confidential at all times. Losing your private key means losing control over your wallet. If anyone else gains access to your private key, they gain access to your tokens, and there's no way to change your private key for another. Nobody can help you recover access to your wallet in case of loss. Only you know this key! Keep it safe and never show it to anyone.

Please remember that we will never ask you to enter or provide us with your private keys. Security of your funds is paramount, and maintaining the confidentiality of your private keys is a vital part of that.
